Usually I'm more excited about eating down there: Sonic, Boston Market, Fuddruckers--all yummy
Ya know what's good? Cherry/Passionfruit Tic Tacs. Seriously half are red and half are yellow and they are damn good
Just go to Target and start buying stuff
Also: there is a type of Degree deodorant down there, it's called Power, it's orange--haven't seen it here yet but it's good stuff too.
Tic Tacs and Deodorant, now that's a fine road trip!

I'm a Double Double animal style kinda guy. I don't even know how people are supposed to know about animal style considering it's not on the menu. If it wasn't for my friend who's an In & Out veteran I would have never known.

Frito Chilli/Lime corn chips... Goddamn, when I lived in San Jose for 4 months, I constantly bought them from 7-11... I also like being able to buy beer from 7-11.

I can't believe no one said TiVo.
It's the only thing I want from the US! I'm thinking about making the 7 hour drive down to Montana next weekend to pick one up.

Is there really anything a TiVo can do that a Shaw/Bell/Star Choice PVR can't? Other than make you pay a monthly fee for it to work?

ownership. The cable company doesn't own your recordings.
I don't pay a monthly fee either. I paid the lifetime price, so I have tivo as long as my DVD player will operate.
I hate my cable company down here so it's a situation where I may just pull the plug the next time they piss me off...and I don't have to worry about losing my stuff!

It's got a bigger screen then the iPod Classic and supports a wider range of formats then an iPod.
The only reason I bought an iPod instead of it was I was concerned about what would happen with a warranty claim in Canada.
