After 2 brand new cars, I'll never do it again. It just seems almost stupid not to buy a one or two year old car. you get sooo much more for the money. If you're thinking of a Jetta, that could get you a VR6 or a 1.8T. You could also consider the GTI. Not sure what they go for, but maybe a used Audi A4...
