Is K-Ville any good?

I watched it after the review in the paper here reviewed it as a good show, despite it's pilot (last night). I liked the first one, so if it just gets better then it's probably worth watching.

Prison Break - very good, although I completely missed something from last year as to why they are in the Prison.
K-Ville was good, especially the line "your death will be written up as 'suspect killed in high speed chase' if you dont tell me where he is going"
Power of 10 - very good show, I much perfer it over the other style, you can easiil see why CBS offered the Price is Right to Drew after seeing the trailer.

Good thread.
I watched Prison Break after just finishing season 2 on DVD in time. I will tune into Heroes (if I can finish season 1 on DVD), The Office, and The Big Bang Theory; simply because of Kaley Cuoco.
Edit- I watched K-Ville as well, and shut it off after 30 minutes.

Ah, I see Kitchen Nightmares starts tonight. Thanks for the heads up.
I really enjoyed that show on the Food Network. I hope Fox hasn't made it too... well ... Fox-like.

Man that's a lot of shows on tv these days.
I'm going to watch hockey and make a point of pvr'ing TUF, and the Next Big Break. I thought that was a lot of TV already.
Then again, once I get that 42" Westinghouse hooked up that i got from Dell DOD's I may watch more TV.

Funny, I was thinking about starting a thread like this. I am really looking forward to where they are going to take the Heroes storyline.
I am looking forward to a couple new shows.
Bionic Woman, who doesn't love a hot chick that can fight? Sidney Bristol anyone?
Journeyman. I am sucker for time travelling shows and ideas. I just don't know if this show will last long.
K-Ville. I missed the pilot, I have to d/l it I guess. Looks like it has potential.

Kville is pretty good I would give it 2.5 stars using the "TV Gal" (from zap2it) rating method.
Five Stars: This show is so wonderful I don't leave home when it's on for fear my PVR will fail and I'll miss an episode.
Four Stars: This show is in my TV rotation and will be recorded every week.
Three Stars: I won't PVR this show, but if I'm home, I'll make a point to watch it.
Two Stars: If I'm home and I need to watch something while I'm folding laundry, I'll watch this show.
One Star: If I'm home, I won't turn on the TV for fear this show will be on

I'm forcing myself NOT to watch Prison Break....
Think I'll wait till its all done...and watch it in 2 nights like I did the first 2 seasons.

Curb Your Enthusiasm started season 6 on Sept 6th and episode 2 aired on the 16th. Not sure when Showcase plans to air them.

Gordon Ramsay is hilarious!
GR - "How much does that (teeth whitening) cost you?"
Greasy mafia/WWE wannabe - "About a thousand bucks each time."
GR - "I just brush my teeth twice a day instead."

I liked the part where he was telling off Peter towards the end of the show and they kept zooming in on his chef's face. The guy was completely gobsmacked. He just had a look of "Yes! Finally!" on his face and he almost looked afraid to smile.
The first show certainly does seem pretty sensational compared to the British series they show on Food TV with all those fights and threats of violence and so forth. I wonder if its going to continue or Fox just wanted to kick the series off with a bang. I also miss the part where Ramsay shows up for a surprise meal a few weeks later. I wish they would have left that part of the show in. I'm guessing they probably had time constraints.

Probably.. they showed Peter trying to beat the crap out of bill collector guy a few too many times. I would rather they show Ramsay come back a month later and see how the place is doing that... but it is fox..
