Thanks for all the tips. Catch seems to be my fav so far. I'll try and pull for that.

Naw the River Cafe's more like a rustic hunting cabin. Not sure if it's that conductive to a louder group. If that's the case, the (blue) Oyster bar at Catch or it's private dining room is the way to go. Do NOT go to their regular dining room, it's quite stuffy.

How about Vicker's new joint, Wild Ginger?

Check out Mile One on 10th ave and 11st. It just opened, has a capacity of 450 people, and is super nice inside. They swiped the chef from Karma apparently, so the menu is AWESOME. They set the place up with business functions in mind, so it should work out fine for what you're looking for. It's kind of like a big Mercury, but more open in the layout.

My buddy is one of the owners, but that's besides the point....

I think Dinner prices are around $35, and Lunch are $28. It might be a little more than you were after.

The food has really gone downhill there.

http://mileonetavern.com/

As you will see, it's not very informative....

Go have a look after work sometime though (it's right behind the CO OP on 11th). I couldn't believe how much money they sank into the place....huge plasma screens, massive bar, indoor fireplaces, it's relly quite nice. Hot waitresses and bartenders too.
