I'm not sure how you guys are screwing up Jiffy Pop. The only time I came close to having a problem was one time when camping I was too lazy (read: drunk) to start up the camp stove, so I cooked it over the open campfire.

You are shaking it, right?

Usually it does happen over the open fire.

I burn them pretty badly each time. I think being drunk has a lot to do with it.
