With all these comments on tree beer I almost want to try it to see how bad it is....

I had an interesting brew at Dieu du Ciel (a place I mentioned in the beer snob thread) made from sour wheat and cherries. Not something I'd likely order again, but it was definitely unique. I followed it up with their stout, which is first rate.

fotze, it seems you and I share a kindred hatred of Tree Beer. That is some repulsive stuff.

I was none too impressed with my Tree Brewing experiences. Thirsty Beaver made me thirsty for anything but more Thirsty Beaver, and the others were also gross and yeah, too hoppy. Honeybee was the only one close to passable, but it was even worse than Rickards Honey Brown.
