Hot Wheels were great. Good for plain old driving and great for smashing.
They still only cost $1.49 so if you are feeling nostalgic...

3. Weebles wobble but they don't fall down
4. Those stretchy WWF guys
5. Star Wars stuff. A buddy of mine had EVERYTHING and I spent alot of time at his house. The At-At, the Falcon, all the figures, a Boba Fett that was probably 3 feet tall. Man, was I jealous.

I was really into military/war stuff. I had a ton of toy soldiers and loved setting them up to look like a real war. My favourite thing to do as a kid though was playing war in the woods whenever we went camping. I guess I could still do that thouhg except with paintball guns.

Anyone remember Garbage Pail kids? Man, I had hundreds of those stupid things.
GI Joes and Transformers were my favs, but only because my parents wouldn't buy me a BB gun or a remote controlled car.

My Ghostbusters Trap and Proton Pack
LEGO!!!

Ninja Turtle Action Figures. Those stupid things broke so easily, esp Bibob and Rocksteady.
I was a part of the whole POG craze back in grade 5-6 whenever it was.
Did anyone else use a Lite Brite??

Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars. I always liked Matchbox better as they were more realistic for the most part than some of the silly creations by Hot Wheels. I still buy the odd one. I think the Hot Wheels Trans Am around the time of Smokey and the Bandit was my favourite. Lego and HO scale trains were cool too.

well, back when I was a kid I used to have this stick....it was great...it could be a sword, a gun, a bow and arrow or just something to swat away the flies while Pa made hooch out in the barn!
|
LOL I was waiting for one of the greybeards to weigh in on this topic. Did you have a rock to go with that stick?

I remember those Garbage Pail Kids. I think they're actally back now. All the toys from the 80's are. I remember lite brite.
My favorite toys were:
My pound puppy (it's sentimental, because my grandmother bought for me and she's not living anymore, it's also on my bed)
Rainbow Brite
Barbies
Strawberry Shortcake

Would rather spend my time outside playing games and such as a kid, but I did have a few favorites. Lego, GI Joe, Lite Brite, race tracks(Super Duper Double Looper was my favorite), and toy guns. I also enjoyed my crazy carpet. Would go farther and faster than most other kids sleds, which usually meant the willows at the bottom of Devils Hill!

I spent a hell of alot of time playing with these toys... outside. Nothing was better then grabbing a bunch of GI Joes or some Transformers and heading down to the nearest park with your chums and playing with them.

well I liked a few things. II had a hockey game, Its hard to describe, u sometimes see it in an arcade. Kinda like a foozball table, 5 knobs that you can pull for each player and it moves the guy back and forth on the board.

Construx
Other than that, just lots of random stuff
Did anyone else have elastic fights? We used to make guns out of construx, and run around my house shooting them at each other, good times.
