I think the Sanyos take like 2 hours to charge so they won't be as fast as the energizers, but they hold their power for years so it's good for remotes.
Very slow self discharge maintains 85% residual capacity after 1 year of storage and 70% residual capacity after 2 years of storage
I just need them for my wii.

The weirdest thing though is that on the Dell website they actually tell you the disadvantages of rechargeable batteries. Never seen that before. hehe
Given these advantages, there are however also some disadvantages to typical Ni-MH batteries which made consumers reluctant to exchange their disposable batteries for rechargeables:- After purchase, rechargeable batteries have to be charged before they can be used.
- Rechargeable batteries lose stored energy quickly
- Continous/frequent charging ( without conplete discharge ) can destroy the battery
- The charging process can take a long time and rapid chargers are expensive

You get what you pay for.. this monitor is good if you just need a cheap monitor, but I've read some issues with colour inconsistency across it, plus the resolution is quite low (1440 x 900). And for that price it's probably a 6 bit panel (fewer colours). Might be ok for a second monitor that doesn't get much use, but I wouldn't want it.
If you really want to game, I'd go with the larger monitors (20"+), and make sure and get a good quality monitor. I've got a 2005FPW and it's VERY nice for gaming.

Maybe a little off topic for this thread, in line with online deals...
Sony Bravia 1080p 40" Widescreen LCD HDTV
Bundled with the PlayStation 3 Hardware 60GB with 3 movies and 1 game (Casino Royale, Ghost Rider, Underworld: Evolution and MLB 07) for $2299.99 (They say that saves $725.00)
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...0079166&catid=
you have to enter each product manually to get that pricing... but if you were in the market for a new LCD and a PS3
not to mention there is this: 5 free Blu ray disc with the purchase of a Blu-ray player - PS3 counts.

They tend to be a bit more expensive than some external drives, but they are generally better built, and use a higher quality chipset than the generic stuff.
