If she's opposed to birth control, I can't even imagine what her response will be when you bring up abortion.
Stop posting right this minute and take her to a walk in clinic for an exam and a prescription. A woman's cycle is 28 days. If you've been active for 24 of those, a doctor will be able to tell if she's pregnant.

Trust me, pulling out doesn't work very well. I won't go into detail, but I know this for a fact.
Get her on the pill, you can mash it up and put it in her food like a little kid if you have to.
You'll be a dad sooner rather than later if you keep it up.

I can't believe you're not using any form of contraception and with the amount of sex you're talking about.. how is your girlfriend not pregnant already?

sorry, lost count... I considered 2 weeks + 2 days as a "few" weeks of condomless sex
I thought she needed to get a prescription for the pill. So it's an over the counter drug? I know it's a dumb question but I dont shop for these things

This totally sounds like someone is trying to hook themselves up to a life time child support income or obligatory husband contributions.
I suggest you start shopping for child seats at garage sales....you might need one in 9 months.

She does require a prescription. Any walk in clinic doctor will ask a few simple questions about her overall health and write the presciption. If she's over 16 though, I do not believe it requires parental consent. I'm assuming she is since she lives with you. Go with her. Also, there's probably a free health clinic where you and her can also make an appointment and will get at least one free month of birth control and some education on planned parenthood.

So she hates the feel of condoms and would rather do it without the rubber. As awesome as this sounds, she isnt on the pill or using any kind of contraceptives herself. This has me worried that I might not pull it out on time and that the pre cum would eventually get her pregnant.
Am I worrying too much?
For the ladies, is taking the pill all that inconvienient?
|
You do know that sex normally drops off dramaticly when there's a little one in the picture right?? Use the condoms, the pill or whatever but not what your doing now.
If she gets pregnant you'll have to decide if you want the child, I always thought I could support an abortion. Turns out I can't. I love my son.

In the olden days, prostitutes used Pomegranates. And not orally.
As for your "method of contraception", worst choice ever. But if you look at the odds of actually conceiving, its probably not as high as once thought. Even under ideal situations, you're talking a roughly 15-20% conception rate. Good luck, Dad.

Lol, if that happens the relationship is doomed, and should be doomed.
But yeah, there are TONS of options! The ring thing was already mentioned. My wife used Depo Provera for a while, that's a 3 month injection.. lots of options.
If you are close enough to live together, you're close enough to talk bluntly about contraceptives. If you guys aren't prepared to have a child, it's stupid to continue without take some precautions. Does she not want to go to the clinic? Go with her, support in this is maybe all she wants/needs? Or does she not want to take some because she wants to have a kid? Sounds crazy, but I've known it to happen (girls secretly going off their pill to have a baby).
But if you are in agreement that you don't want a kid at this point in your lives, and don't want to go through an abortion, then a stand that it's either a condom or some other form of contraception is a reasonable thing.

If she doesn't like latex, maybe she would prefer lambskin? Not disposable though, so be sure to rinse it occasionally.
