I think both parties are having issues with the most vocal members being those along the margins. Whoever brings out a moderate candidate will win this election. If the Republicans bring out a social conservative bible thumper, and the democrats trot out a pseudo socialist liberal... we're in for a really lousy election based on who can possibly screw up less.
