anyways, this is likely way too late for the op - but what about calling a restuarant supply company and asking - they might have some ideas on where to go. I'd assume that you would really have to pay to go this route.....

I did not realize that the op was that old - it is a long time to have an issue with stools

If you want the be all end all of Bar Stools, get the Made In Canada (Quebec) barstools from Amisco.


Scope out their website to find a list of dealers in Calgary. They're built to commercial quality. I have two of their stools and if an asteroid destroys my home, I know my stools will be standing right where I left them.

They range from $280 - $350 per stool.
