Usually people only remember the really good ones or the really crappy ones. Maybe their idea is if you can't come up with a really good ad, come up with a really crappy one. At least you will remember the name. Not that I agree with this.

The commercial that disgusts me the most is that Quiznos one that was on a few months back. I actually really like Quiznos (Classic Italian sub!), but those wierd talking hand things... I mean who the hell thought of that, and who was the moron who gave the final ok to air the commercial?? Someone musta got fired over that one.

I never minded Mr. Wendy. I disliked them but it didn't think it would drive down sales and produce such vile hatred out of some.

Oh God Mr.Wendy was the worst! What kind of a fool eats wendy's 3 times a day and writes poems about it? I think all fast food commercials are horrible. I personally can't stand Jared from subway. What a loser "I kinda want someone to come talk subs with me". Does that not make you wanna go and shove a sub down his throat and hope he chokes to death? McDonalds also makes me wanna inject myself with bleach. I can't stand those "lovin it" commercials or those stupid rap songs they came out with. The olny ones i find half decent are A&W and Arby's. The oven mit guy is kinda funny.

Glad he's off the air.
Now the only thing left to do is get Mr. Canadian (aka Bob Villa North) off those Canadian Tire commercials, and I'll be happy. I hate that guy and everything he stands for. What a geek.
"Hey, what you got there?"
"It's my new Mastercraft...."...... Shut the **** up!

Worst.....Commerical.....Ever.
Actually the Canadian Tire ads with that tard who fixes everything (only with his Mastercraft Tool Kit) was my most hated commerical up until I saw that stupid DVD-Game Board commercial where that done-in pansy says "Yes my Gatekeeper!" like its a matter of life or death. DING DING DING DING WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION.
Oh yeah, and those Subway ads with Jared Fogle. OK SUBWAY WE GET IT ALREADY, HE ATE SUBS AND LOST 300 POUNDS ENOUGH ALREADY. Geez, that guy should be taken out back a subway and shot!

Have you seen the "This Hour has 22 minutes" spoof of those ads. The guy has a "Measure Mate 2000", it's just a ruler with a power cord.

The only person worse than that guy is his uber-annoying wife. Come to think of it, that whole family p*sses me off, even the kid who has about one line in the whole campaign.

LoL. These commercials are so stupid. I can't imagine camping and bringing gameboys, laptops and crap like that. I think they even were watching a DVD in thier van. Why even waste your time driving all the way up to the campsite.

In the end it doesn't matter if you are entertained by the guy on the commercial or think he is an annoying sob, it's all about the ads affect on sales. I've seen many 'good commercials' that I don't remember what the product even was, but it was a good entertaining commercial.
I used to hate those pizza pop commercials where they would slam the thing and all this puke filling would fly out but apparently the ads were successful even if it annoyed the heck out of me and probably others.

Yup, I couldn't stand those ones either.
But the commercials that really annoyed me were those pop tart commercials with the break dancing pop tart. Then that preppy Vanilla Ice-looking guy walks up and does that "Baaaaaaaam", or whatever the hell it is that he says.
Must have been successful though because I think they still show them.
Oh, and the McCain kid. I hated that kid.

I dunno about you guys, but that BAAAAAMMMM thing swept across my college for months....
And yes, Christine MacGee. There would be nothing sweeter than a calgary-tower-sized stack of mattresses falling ontop of her.

haha, dont evne get me started on "Jack Storm vs. the Mummy." I mean come on now, that is one of the most laziest pieces of copyrighting i have ever seen. That's almost as bad as almost every man in an ad being called Bob. I mean how long does it take to come up with a half-original name???

One could argue that these are all great commercials, because they've been remembered by people.
One could also argue that these are all terrible commercials, because they've caused people to boycott their product.
Take your pick.

I'm adding that new car commercial to the list because it annoys the hell out of me, and I can't remember the name. Which is good because if I did and I saw one parked on the side of the street I'd grab a sledgehammer and start swinging.
It might be 'Echo' or something like that, but this guy is picking up his friends at the airport and they are all impressed by his sweet ride.
Standing by the trunk the driver says 'hey check this out!' and proceeds to cup his hands around his mouth and shout 'ECHO!' into the car which echos it back. The friends have the stupidest stunned look on their faces.
And all this to a sound track of 'do do do do'... . Anybody know what I'm talkin about?
