Lives In Fear Of Labelling

I saw it last night, it wasn't bad. I think they tried to pack way to much into it though. Even running at over 2 hours, it felt rushed to me. I expected the cheesy lines, hot girl and big booms. Megatrons character seemed wasted for such little screen time. Plus they killed off Jazz in the first movie damn it!!! He was my favorite autobot back in the day. I can't say Bay raped my childhood with this film but he was certainly the creepy old man that left his hand on your shoulder for too long.

I am a diehard Transformers fan and I saw the movie last night. It totally exceeded my expectations!!! I didn't even notice that it ran over two hours. I will see it again. The only thing I would have liked to see were the "combiners" like Superion or Bruticus and of course the Dinobots! Guess I'll have to wait for the sequel.

Oh, better than Spiderman, way to set your sights high. I had never actually considered asking a theater for my money back until about halfway through that piece, I was really thinking about it.

I can no longer say I hate Michael Bay for he has made by far the most kick ass movie I've seen to date. I was worried he was going to ruin my childhood, but instead he just made me re-live it and then make it about 20,000 times more awesome.

that movie made me feel warm and fuzzy in all the special areas about Megan Fox. Do you think my first love Sarah Chalke will be angry?
The movie was great, with a few minor things. I didn't like the ending, but did love the comic relief. The scene where Sam takes the car for his first drive, to the "party" was hilarious.

The movie is getting bad reviews, but it's sitting at 8.4 on IMDB.com. Pretty good average.

Saw it tonight and I gotta say...wow...I was completely speechless after it ended. My favorite childhood cartoon brought to life before my eyes. I have to say Bay did a great job. If you haven't seen it, you must.
The theater erupted in cheers when the movie ended. There have been only one instance where I can remember such a loud cheer, and it was for Star Wars.
This movie follows pretty faithfully to what we remember the transformers to be, from the autobot dialogue to Prime's convictions. Hey, it's true the story is a bit on the thin side, but that's what Transformers have always been about. If they aren't scheming ways to steal Energon cubes, they're scheming ways to fight each other or go back to cybertron. The stories have always been simplistic, and I am pretty glad this movie kept to that.
Transformers has and always will be about the war between the autobots and decepticons. I was given that.

Could someone who saw it please explain this to me. It's a bit of a plot hole, but maybe it isn't and I just totally missed the boat on this one. If Megatron encrypted the location of the Allspark on the old guy's glasses, and then Sector 7 moved the cube to the Hoover Dam, how is it that Optimus and the autobots were able to find its location when they got the glasses?? There's a very good chance that I totally missed the ball on this one and the answer was explained, but my friend and I couldn't figure this one out. Please help.

This whole thread should have one then, I accidently read something yesterday in this thread that I wish I hadn't, but it was my own fault for reading this thread. The thread title is "SAW TRANSFORMERS". If you read the first line of my post, I ask a question about a possible plot hole, if you haven't seen it, you shouldn't be reading on.

It may say "Saw Transformers," but it doesn't mention anything about "Spoilers." "Saw Transformers" and "Spoilers: are 2 completely different things. But you are right, there are a few spoilers in this thread already. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't exercise caution for other people who just want to read a review without spoilers. When this thread was created, I wanted to see the reaction of forum members. It's a good thing when I read this thread, the spoiler parts weren't posted yet.

It's a GREAT Summer Action Flick. Don't go in thinking the Dialogue is going to change your life, but the movie is top notch when it comes to Action, CGI, Fighting, and coolness.
GREAT MOVIE!!!
Anyone esle want to see that un-named JJ Abrams movie they showed a trailer for? That looked wicked.

I made sure not to read this thread until I saw the film, for exactly this reason. I even knew plot points from other websites, and still avoided it. The whole Soprano's debacle taught me that...

According to IMDB it's still untitled set for a 2008 release. The trailer was well done. Guess the monster from Lost made its way to the main land!

Ultra secretive movie code named: Cloverfield. Likely a fake name for the movie. The secrecy behind this movie is insane.
