This list at least is provoking discussion and people are talking about their favorite movies. I've picked up 4 recommendations today that I wrote down for my to-see list.

Currently, if I were to be making a personal top 100, Shawshank would be #2. Behind Wall Street.

And hey, where is "Mystery Men"? I liked that a whole lot better than "Toy Story".

of the top 10, i've seen the godfather and raging bull. not big on the classics.

what a crap list anyways. at least 80 to 90% maybe more are pre 1975. its because all the voters are between 40 and 100 years old so they all pick stuff they remember when they were young.

the top movie made in the last 20 years is schindlers list. i wouldn't even put it in the top 20 movies of the last 20 years. me thinks it only made it because...yeah don't worry im not a racist but anyone who knows anything about holywood knows what im talking about. lets just say im italian so id put the godfather #1 because its a good movie about italians.

plus this is the 2nd time this top 100 list has been made. last time it was completely different. if you look at the first list from 1997 only 7 of the first 50 movies are post 1975!!! what a joke. like everything on the list is from the 1940s and 50s.

top three is godfather, shawshank, casablanca/lawrence of arabia imho.
