I doubt they'll do him, they seem to feature a character a bit before they do the whole episode on them, and he wasn't in the last one much. MMF's probably right, they had all that stuff about how his son doesn't seem to know him last time.

The monster will never be seen, it would ruin the show if it was.

There is a french genetics lab on the island (Leave it too the french), they were combining specis (explains the polar bear), the animals escaped, and what you have is a hybred of the worst, and there are more of them out there deeper in the island.
End speculation

Agree with all but the first one. I guess the first one could be true, but to me would just be goofy.
In one of the previous Lost threads, I thought that Locke was the guy that was already on the island, but then in the next episode they had his flashbacks. But I still think that one of the main characters is a resident of the island. The monster will not be seen as the fear and uncertainty of the unknown works way better for the show.
I also think the success of the show has lots to do with where the storyline goes. More success = longer run of the program and more ideas that the producers can explore.

I agree that them all being dead would be a little over the top, and it would take some significance away from other sub-plots like who the previous inhabitants were? what is the monster? why the signal hasn't been received? the polar bear? ... it just wouldn't matter if they were all dead.
Someone being on the island the whole time is intriguing, but we are running out of candidates, perhaps that would be a season finale revelation.
Locke has made a bargain with the devil I think, and that will be ultimately how he survived his first encounter with "the thing". Perhaps he is paying his first installment by whacking Said? He said a number of times if you give to the island....
Oh yeah... my wife is drooling over the Party of Five dude, but agrees Kate is purdy hot as well.

I don't have all the episodes on tape or anything, but of all the "main" characters, I don't really remember seeing Hurley on the plane in anyone's flashback.
Can anyone confirm/refute that, or think of anyone else of the main characters that as yet haven't been seen on the plane?

The Nov. 10 episode is called “Confidence Man,” so it’ll be real interesting to learn if that title refers to Sayid, Sawyer, Hurley or the guy who knocked up Claire.
That does't seem like confirmation to me, unless I'm missing something.

A friend of mine dated Evangeline Lilly when she lived in Abbotsford BC. I think her real name was Nicole, she later changed it when she found god (whatever that meant) She is also the girl in the LifeMates(or some telephone ad). That was airing in the summer.

Your frind was a lucky guy. Evangeline is such a cutie. I hope J.J Abrams can turn her into a star like he did with Jennifer Garner. Evangeline's phone chat infomercials are still on the air, I see them most nights after midnight on the Seattle fox network.
Here is a site for spoilers.

I didnt initally like the show at all. But I have watched it the last few weeks and its been pretty good. I thought in the beginning it was more of a mini-series but the way people are talking around here I guess its more than that.
Tonights episode is a good one. Probably the best one I've seen. Though the pregnant woman with the fake Australian accent is still annoying.

Tonight's episode was a good one. A lot of people were curious about the Sawyer character(which I guess wasn't even his real name), and they did a good job of showing him.
For the people talking about how the pace has kind of slowed down, I think it's because they want to introduce more of the characters and their backgrounds before the show goes deeper and deeper and characters start dying off.
It looks as though the plot picks up next week though, with Said being kidnapped or tortured or something by that crazy dude.

I love how they are doing the character development, its really going to go a long way in giving the show staying power.
