I love all the Oceans movies, this should go in the 'I loathe _____' thread but I hate when people overanalyze movies, some people expect way too much. Anyways I haven't seen this one but I can't wait to check it out.

Yeah, i don't know HOW i could not like this movie.

Matt Damon: "HEy, i need a super-duper-spectacular-device or we are screwed, where ever could i find one, there is only one in the world!?"
George Clooney: "OH WOW! We are screwed, no way we will ever get one"
MAtt DAmon: "Oh wait, here it is in my back pocket, i forgot about that..."
George Clooney: "Oh phew, that was close!!"

Repeat 10-12 times and conclude with slight twist that is about 3 minutes long and not even really a twist.

HOW could i not be entertained by that?!?!

It wasn't bad, but not great. 3/5 for me and I actually liked the second one. It was fast-paced and it seemed over fast, so it was definitely entertaining, but I did have two problems with it:

*** SPOILER ALERT ***

I understand why they did this caper, however, I liked the other two heists better because there was a concrete thing they were after. You could argue the diamonds count, but that almost seemed like an afterthought the way they did it.

Secondly, I'm assuming the twist you are referring to, Claeren, is the bit with the Night Fox at the end? And how they got around his interference easily. That wasn't even an "Oh crap!" moment for me. It was so easily predictable. The other two had twists that you didn't really see coming. This one was not so much.

*** END SPOILERS ***

Still a good show though, as long as you can not overanalyze every minute detail.

Just saw it tonight. This was a much better effort than the second movie. They got back to their roots and just made a movie about robbing a casino in vegas. This isn't supposed to be realistic, it's supposed to be entertaining. That, it did. The audience gave the movie quite a few laughs tonight.

I can't believe people are attacking the technical aspects of hollywood films...James Bond must not float your boat either.
