I don't see how the youth are going to decide this vote. Despite attempts during every election to convince the young people to go out and vote, it doesn't happen. Even if they did get out and vote, I don't think it would matter. Bush will win handily IMO.

I would prefer a Bush win, but I really have no idea if that is going to happen.

hehe notice in the map that Strong Bush is all in the backwards hick states. You vote for who you can better associate with.

I think Kerry is going to pull it out. He'll win by less than a million votes, but will win the college decisively....let's say 301-237.
I can tell you two national level votes I will definitely be casting tomorrow....
1. Our Congressman..incumbent Todd Tiahrt ® will be getting my vote. The guy fights so hard for our area as opposed to national priorities.
2. 1 Senator, Sam Brownback ® is up for re-election....I will be voting for whoever is running against him.

Backward hick states?
Have you ever been to them? What exactly makes a state 'backward and hick'?

You are the biggest clown this site has seen in a long time. Do you realize that? You are a fool, and the funniest part about it is that you THINK that you are funny.

Dis, I have been to 38 of the 50 states in this great country (got to see Alaska, Oregon and then do some driving in the NE and I'm done!), so I think I can honestly comment on this one. While it is generalizing, the "rural" states where Bush does well does have a certain "stereotype" to live down. They come by it honestly. Call it part of the charm.

I know several people who are from Sask that worship the place. Probably can't say that 'everyone' in Sask thinks 'x', just like not everyone who supports Bush, or is from a land-locked state, is a hick.

I think Kerry wins by at least 40 electoral votes. I also have a feeling TN will be closer than many expect, maybe even go to Kerry. True, it is fairly conservative, but I have that gut feeling (says the optimist).

you sound like someone in Ontario that thinks that Alberta is made up of bible thumping rednecks who just happened to get rich all of a sudden, and it is a good thing to because now we can take cares of out homeosexuals problems. Backward hick states? No one has really come out of a place like Arkansas right? Especially not a president, right? People are people are people, it doesn't make a difference where they were born. I am sure there actually are quite a few morally upstanding, great individuals who were born in those backwards hick states and even (gasping noise) in Saskatchewan.

At the same time, stereotypes exist for a reason. While I wouldn't identify myself as a 'hick' normally, when I went to New York City and Washington D.C. last year, I can tell you unequivocally, I am a 'hick' (b/raised Calgary). And if you were born/raised in Western Canada, then you're probably, like it or not, possessing of some 'hick' attributes that would be picked up instantly in 'normal' cities like Boston, LA, Dallas, etc.
I too noticed that Bush had grabbed all of the land-locked, mainly rural states. You can't help but imagine that there are _some_ ideological similarities between many of those states. The same can be said of New Englanders, South-Easterners, West-Coast, etc.
Obviously saying that everyone comes from a place is a hick is probably erroneous. At the same time... somewhat true
Not trying to stir the pot, just gabbing.

Yeah, that's it...I'm mad because my NFL team is in first place in their division and I've chosen to take it out on you!
You have no idea who I'm voting for so your little smart ass comment (hehehe ) is unwarranted.
I'm just saying what most people who use this forum think to themselves. Trust me.
