Another fan of Omar. He brags about being specifically brought into a barber school to teach students how to straight razor shave

Though Omar himself is semi retired so you'll have to call in advance to see when he's in

I thought it would be a great idea to try and give myself a straight razor shave after I had gotten a few done professionally, so I purchased one and used a fancy Badger hair brush to apply the hot foam.

What happened next was nothing short of me more or less skinning my own face. I do not recommend trying this on your own unless you want to personally play out a scene from Silence of the Lambs. It took me about 2 weeks to grow back the skin I stripped off.

I had one in Dubrovnik a couple of months ago. I'd flown out on Ryanair and only had hand luggage, so no razors with me.

It was the best shave I've ever had!

I can vouch for leaving chinook barber. I drive 7-10 min more from my place and visit razors edge. Chinook is second best but doesn't offer the back of neck straight shave for free like razors edge.
Tarek seems to be the best while Moe is whom I use most often so that I do not wait 30 min. Moe is great and so is the younger taller guy whom talks about girls the entire time.

Omar is pretty good, but I haven't been to see him since I took up wet shaving 3 years ago.

I went to a place in Kensington for a shave a while back, not sure if it is there anymore.

I am pretty sure that I can give myself a better shave now then what i got from different barbers. Hey Gundo, pm me if you still have your straight razor and would like to sell it.

London Barbers downtown is great. It's on 4th Street SW between 11 Ave and 12 Ave. $20 for a haircut with a hot shave for the neck hair.

I have another place that does a hot shave. It's called For The Male on 17th Ave and 37th Street SW. Just up from the old Children's Hospital. I have never tried it though because I have a beard.
