That'd be pretty funny. Kind of like that "top 50 mistakes women make in bed" group on facebook, written by a chick.

I'd say that about half of those statements are true for all women. Of course, which ones are true for each woman definitely varies.

We're not asking you to be psychic, for we're telling you that when you ask what's wrong, and we say "nothing" in that snotty manner, it really means "something, but I'm too mad at you to talk about it right now. When I continue to pout, but with less anger, ask me again and we'll talk." It's not psychic abilities we're looking for. There's an obvious difference between when nothing really means nothing and when it means there's something wrong and we're too pissed to talk about it right now, and not only do we KNOW you know the difference, we expect you to act accordingly.

And yes, you do play those same kind of crap with us, because whenever we've hurt your poor little ego, you'll pout and storm off and do something manly, but you'll NEVER discuss your feelings as that makes you feel like even less of a man, so you'll just go on pretending nothing is wrong. Smae game, just as obvious, but with different expected results. You want from us to make you feel like a man again, we want you to come back and let us 'discuss' our issue in a rational manner later when we won't yell so much because we've had time to cool off.

Isn't the worst for women like us when a man says "I guess so."? I mean honestly, if you don't want to, then tell me. If you do want to, then act more excited... this whole guessing thing just has me guessing which way you're actually feeling... and most of the time I'm guessing that you're thinking in the negative and now I wonder why you don't want to do the thing I suggested... don't you like me???? Don't you care????

Please, don't tell me you 'guess' about anything. Even if you say "I suppose so," that's better. It sounds positive.

Ah, the difference between men and women. If men thought like women, we wouldn't be thinking about things like (and I credit a CP poster for this idea, but I can't remember who it was) "Can I just leave my sprinklers on the hose and the faucet open to the settings I like, then just turn the water on and off from the shutoff valve in the basement and therefore eliminate the need to put on my shoes and go outside to do it?"....

Mhmmm... so men think about ways to be lazier... so if you're so darn efficient because of all the free time you now have by thinking up such wonderful time saving techniques, why isn't the lawn cut? Lol. Which is probably the reason we're really good at killing other people in war, but not actually discussing with them our differences and solving the problem. Because an even smarter man would just put the damn sprinkler on a timer.

Really? Storming off and pouting is manly? I usually make fun of my friends who do that. So then "nothing" is the same as "leave me alone"?

"I guess so" just means indifference. We'd rather be doing something else but, since we're not, we don't mind doing what you're doing. Sorry if we can't fake excitement for quilting.

Men pout differently than women, unless they're purposely pouting like a woman. "Nothing" is the same as "we'll discuss this later when I won't yell so loud, but you'd better ask me what's wrong again when I'm done being angry and have moved on to the next stage of being irritated with you, and if you don't, I'll just get more irritated."

But if it's not quilting. (Seriously, I've been meaning to ask this, quilting? Knitting? Where the hell do you guys find these women?) If it's something you should show some level of excitement about.

So then it's exactly the same as "leave me alone" which pisses women off. When I say "leave me alone" I'm really saying "I need some cave time to think this stuff over and I can't think while you're rambling at me."

Lazy? Well, at least you called it by it's correct name in the next sentence.

The lawn IS cut. That little robot out there is doing it as we speak...

Let's not go there... Ah what the hell... Hate to break it to you, but chicks are the ones constantly hating eachother. Dudes just have their differences, then have a shot. (sometimes inturrupted by a shot to the head)

Kind of comes back to control then. Who are you (and of course I don't mean you in particular) to tell me what I should be excited about? And why do you care? Because it's important that we "share the same interests"? That's silly. I'm not going to make some girl who hates golf sit down and watch the final round of the Master's because I think it's exciting.

No, it's not the same. It doesn't piss us off if you leave us alone, it pisses us off when you are clearly aware there is something wrong, and it has to do with you, and you think you can get out of the upcoming argument by 'leaving us alone' and then never bringing it up again. Like it's going to go away.

Sorry, should've stated that clearer. I meant it pisses women off when we say "leave me alone".

We're not telling you to be excited about anything. We're assuming since you've previously been mildly excited about said activity, that something has since changed, and that's why you've gone from "sure" to "I guess so". It's also not about sharing interests, it's about sharing time.
