Heh, my downloads are nice and fast... my uploads are about the worst of the bunch so far (excepting Shaw Lite users apparently.)

I might be getting a little picky here, but i believe there's a mistake in these images. i'm certain that it's measured in "kbps", not "kb/s".

The difference being kilobits vs kilobytes. So take what you have and divide it by 8, and you should get your "real" download speed.

kb/s is the same as kbps. Kilobytes per second are kB/s or kBps.

kbps and kB/s are the commonly used ones though.

Ah yes, you're right. I forgot about the captilization subtleties. "b" is bit, and "B" is byte. Thanks.

i don't get this thing... my internet is incredibly incredibly slow.... yet i get good results. like 6800 and 800. does that mean my internet is fast? then why does it go so slooooooowwwwwwww?

6800 and 800 are fine. What is it that goes slow? Just because you have a fast connection doesn't mean that the server you are connected to is fast.
