this thread makes me as i played guitar for 7 years and physical limitations forced me to quit and sell my guitars a few years ago. I've got the bug still..i wanna play!!!!

I'm really, really sorry to hear that man. I've always thought about what might happen if I were disabled. The last thing I would want to lose is my ability to play some kind of music (even if I suck at it).

Time to hope for stem cell research or a bionic man future.

thanks for all the ideas, folks.
I guess its practise practise practise and hope that at some point they come out with a computer chip taht I can stuff into my brain, to help me understand this stuff.

if you want to work on your lead solos downlaod any top guitarist teaching
guitar, and they go through great ways to make up a solo easily and remember it doesnt have to always be technical the greatest guitarist jimi hendrix never learned notes, i just pick up the guitar and put together what sounds right you dont need proper scales all of the time just experiment, its all about trial and error. I used to be clueless about soloing i bought a how to solo easy and quick and now i can play solos by ear, form artists like steve vai and eric johnson etc.
