i defintely listen to music too loud. in the truck, the speakers are always cranked, and with a couple alpine type s 12's, it can get rather loud. the iPod, when i can find it (missing again dammit!) can vary however. some days, loud is good. other days, not so much.
i'm 16 you see, and my hearing definetly isn't what it used to be...of course, living on a farm with ridiculously loud equipment probably isn't a real big help either
I've played in bands for 14 years, many live shows, hard rock stuff and never used earplugs, my hearing is fine. I was tested a few years back and only my left ear was a bit less responsive from also playing drums, snare drum.
Ipods and those little headphones sound like garbage, then take into account that most people are listening to mp3s ripped at substandard bitrates and it's horrible. Terrible way to damage your hearing.
I listen to music every damn day with big ass stereo headphones. I try not to have them too, too loud, though sometimes a really great track comes on and you just have to crank the volume!!
That's excellent, but you should work on your alphabetizing.
Yeah, I think the last few years I listened to records regularly(seems like a way long time ago now) I didn't care much about accurate filing. I think as long as I hit the right letter I was OK with that.
Often billed as Canada's answer to the Ramones, Teenage Head were in truth just as much a new wave band as they were a punk rock outfit. They had a similar affection for pre-Beatles rock & roll, especially rockabilly, as well as a sense of trashy fun that made them a terrific party band when they were on. Their songs were unpretentious celebrations of all the classic rock & roll staples: cars, booze, girls, partying, and teenage rebellion.
