No, I didn't speak to anyone at Merle's. I was planning on popping in to call them out. However, as fotze mentions, they were out of business before you could blink an eye. I did speak to the owner of Palace of Eats about it before Merle's folded. He was encouraging me to do something about it.

Have you tried Palace of Eats? They bring in the meat from Montreal too. As do other good smoked meat places, such as Metro. I haven't tried Kings. Palace of Eats is so convenient for me and it is really good, so I haven't bothered to look for alternatives.

Sadly, Pho Bich Nga closed down last year. It wasn't even that good anyway... Actually, I recall it being nasty.
