I'm really expecting the Shaw broadcasts to come back out to our neck of the woods and cover the Calgary - Medicine Hat series as they've been out West doing the Giants series this past round and they generally rotate which area they cover round by round.
On a positive note about going to the games, there're really cheap tickets available at 7/11's apparently for around $10 or so....there's no reason for the Tiger fans to outnumber the Hitmen fans next week!!!!
This should be a great series. I'm not surprised at all that the Hitmen beat the Wheaties to advance - the East was a much weaker division than the Central this year. The Hitmen are going to be in tough however. The Tigers are clearly the team to beat this side of the mountains. They are a very disciplined team and their head coach Willie Desjardins is considered one of if not the best coach in the 'dub. Like I said, the East was weaker but the Pats had a pretty good team that played really well the last half of the year and the Tigers just dominated them. Should be good - the Hitmen have got to get the split coming out of Medicine Hat or they're in trouble IMO.
Has anyone else picked up their tix for Game 3 yet? I've got a contingent of friends and family coming in from out of town for the game and can't wait!!!
Alright, so I'm coming back on the 25th. Any chance that this makes it to game 6? I believe that is when the 3rd calgary home game is? I come back to late to make the game on the 25th
We do need more people out, the cheering when the Tigers score is nearly as loud as when the Hitmen do. Not that they outnumber us, they just are louder. We're not even breaking 10,000 attendance.
