I love Tom Jackson and he would likely be the next on my list. I could make an argument with myself and put him at #9 and Eddie McCaffrey at 11.

Rulon Jones had a really short but productive career...but he's not at the level of the other guys I've listed IMO. Karl Mecklenberg....he's got me thinking. That guy did more with less....wow.

Haven Moses and Louis Wright would be two more worthy candidates.

I think Tim Brown has to be in the top 10. Bo Jackson is close too. And what about Rich Gannon in the HM category? He didnt play a ton of years but wow when he did - again, only HM.

Tim Brown was a great Raider, but the two WR I put ahead of him include a hall of famer and Super Bowl MVP, and a guy with 3 rings

5. Paul Krause
6. Chris Carter
7. Ron Yary
8. Joey Browner

I can't believe how hard it is to get it down to 10. I had to sneak 4 of my favourites onto the HM list.

I find that its pretty interesting that you can tell when a person started watching football seriously.....I grew up watching the Buffalo Bills but was not turned into a big fan till Elway got Terrell Davis in his backfield, a lot of my friends like the Colts due to the emergence of Manning

Great list, but where's Ahmad Rashad?

Irving Fryar. pfft. Maybe for the Dolphins or Eagles. He was too busy getting high in his years with NE.

I'm a fan of Ahmad but for me he doesn't rank up there. I had to leave a lot of guys I like off unfortunately but that's the fun of these lists.

Agreed, that's what is fun about it. Looking at the top of your list though it is clear you know your Vikings. Page, Eller and Marshall were absolute monsters and they'd fly under the radar of most casual fans who weren't around in the 70's.

I'm not even sure how great Rashad's numbers are....I just remember that unbelievable hail mary catch he made against Cleveland. One of the greatest plays in NFL history!

Mecklenberg was my Dad's favourite player on the Broncos. He always said the guy left it all out there every Sunday.

Easily IMO.

He was surrounded by nothing. The film on that guy is amazing. Huge heart.

Yep, and it's not close, until Brees wins a superbowl or two Manning had no offensive line for basically his entire career, they weren't the Aint's for nothing.

Not to knock the Saints fans around here. But if a rookie makes some of the Saints fans top 10 lists. There isn't much to pick from over the years.

Not to knock Cheifs fans, but when you're team chokes in the playoffs consistantly, regardless of how they are seeded, including and especially #1 seed there isn't much to be proud of over the years.

My #2 team is Denver so I know first hand how disappointing the last couple decades have been in KC.

First list, the top 10 players in your franchise's history.

Mine is the Denver Broncos....

1. John Elway
2. Shannon Sharpe
3. Rod Smith
4. Terrell Davis
5. Randy Gradishar
6. Steve Atwater
7. Al Wilson
8, Dennis Smith
9. Ed McCaffrey
10. Jason Elam

Interested in everyone's lists!
Hey, another Broncos fan!

Awesome! Go Broncos in 07! Were getting a pretty good offense this off season. Hope we draft a D-linemen.

As for the topic, I generally agree with the list. That was easy.
