I wish American Idol would be cancelled as well.

I liked "Deal or No Deal" for the first 4 episodes. For a further 4 episodes I recorded on the PVR so I could fast-forward the inane banter and just see the cases being opened. Then I was just incredibly bored of the whole thing. As someone with a math degree I was having fun calculating probabilities. However, most contestants don't bother with the probabilities and just keep going until they've lost all the money.
-=-=-=-=-
I hate most crap on TV. Dancing with the Idols, Amazing Survivors, Apprentice Chefs.... They should just cancel every show other than Colbert and just start over.

American Idol....any show that makes Fox stop showing House for 5 weeks is evil in my book.
I dislike ALL comedies on CBS except for "How I Met Your Mother"...

This new show "Thank God You're Here" aired it's first and hopefully last episode today. Just awkward.

Give her a different show. I like her being on tv, but think about this...
"the war at home" is still on tv (Fox) while that said Fox cancelled...
"Arrested Development"
As for other shows that need cancelling:
Gray's Anatomy
American Idol
come to think of it, almost everything on network tv. Cable networks, you are my saviour!
I think eternal damnation is too good for the execs behind that move.

I personally don't need to live vicariously through some spoiled rich teenagers life, but hey that's just me.

Are you kidding me? I LOVE Grey's Anatomy. The main plots, the subplots, the acting, the character development. It's all good!

Agreed. I haven't ever watched The Hills, so I can't comment on that, but I have managed to catch an episode of Sweet 16. Wow. I couldn't believe it. I can't believe TV has actually come down to that kind of crap.

It was actually kind of funny at first, because it was so bad, but now it's just pathetic.

A couple of points here... it's MTV. Even when we were kids, did they have anything good on? Secondly, one of the biggest problems with the consumerist society we live in today is that it's the tween and teenaged young female that buys a lot of disposable crap. When you buy disposable crap, you just have to keep buying and disposing it. That has translated into almost every facet of North American society today. They emulate the queens of disposable, Paris and Britney and whoever, and they keep buying and disposing. So you end up with tv that they'll watch because that's where advertisers want to put their money. It's a self-feeding cycle. Or that's the theory anyways.

I understand that. I, however, don't care. I want that crap of the air.

On a side note, can someone please tell Global News that reporting on the growth of Calgary is not the top story every single day.

It has it's moments, but it's ridiculously formulaic. Try to Youtube the episode of South Park about Family Guy, and you'll never look at that show the same again... damn manatees heh.

My question is, how can they still call it MTV? I stopped watching music videos over a decade ago, when did MM and MTV stop playing them? Now all they seem to televise is really bad reality shows.

If you like melodramatic drivel intruding from daytime tv into primetime
Sorry, I don't mean to be harsh, I just can't stand that show.

Love, if you were trying to be harsh, that didn't really cut it. In case you weren't aware, any prime time drama would fall into this category. I sure hope you don't watch and CSI or BostonLegal, or House or any of those shows because they're ALL melodramatic.
