I was under the impression that because of how they are building the support structure, that a sort of undergraound bridge support thingy is needed; which is why they are going under 6th ave.
I think the fact that while they have it open somebody said "hey, we could either fill that dirt back in, or make the parkade bigger" was a bit of a bonus.
You are way past it then, Wookie. IIRC it is between 1 st SE and Centre st.
So this should make my drive home more pleasant then
although getting onto 6th, on 5ht street, exiting from an alley, having only 10 feet from the left lane to get to the far opposite right lane, to turn onto 6ht might be a bit more of a hassle
Sounds like there's a serious malfunction in the planning process.... apparently they want to close 5th Ave and Centre St around there too? Global said that Bronco went ballistic when he found out, and judging by how red his face was on the news, he probably was.
? That would be pretty difficult... careful i'm starting my upload now. This could get messy!
