I got 134 as well. Seemed a little easier than I thought it would.
Think I may look around next time I'm in my local bookstore for other IQ tests to compare scores.

Yeah, me thinks its a little too easy. We're an intelligent bunch no doubt, but somehow I doubt most of us are near geniuses, which is anyone with an IQ over 140. Only way to prove this test legit would be to post it on an Oiler board and see if they all get Dwayne Roloson (35) or lower.
The scary thing is I predicted I would get 130 and I got 130.
Screw intelligence, I'm psychic!

I got 121, which is about what I predicted. The only thing is I missed a couple questions by very narrow margins, ie I got the answer but could not click fast enough. I wonder how scientific the timing portion of the test is? or is it just to keep people from tag teaming the test to inflate scores

I think 60 questions is a bit limited, but probably gets you in the ballpark.
Have many people written the GMAT or LSAT?
Those are probably better identifiers of something like this.

I don't know if the LSAT is a true IQ test. MENSA accepted my LSAT score for membership. Never went to the meetings.

Membership in Mensa is open to persons who have attained a score within the upper two percent of the general population on an approved intelligence test that has been properly administered and supervised. There is no other qualification or disqualification for membership eligibility.
The term "IQ score" is widely used but poorly defined. There are a large number of tests with different scales. The result on one test of 132 can be the same as a score 148 on another test. Some intelligence tests don't use IQ scores at all. Mensa has set a percentile as cutoff to avoid this confusion. Candidates for membership in Mensa must achieve a score at or above the 98th percentile (a score that is greater than or equal to 98 percent of the general population taking the test) on a standard test of intelligence.
Generally, there are two ways to prove that you qualify for Mensa: either take the Mensa test, or submit a qualifying test score from another test. There are a large number of intelligence tests that are "approved". More information on whether a test you have taken is approved, as well as information on the procedure for taking the Mensa test, can be obtained from the nearest Mensa office. There are no on-line tests that can be used for admission to Mensa.

Ditto with my GMAT score. Never went to the meetings. I considered it, but in Calgary the meetings always seemed to be Tea & Crumpets at someone's living room the 2nd Tuesday every other month.
And my pin was taken when I was robbed last year

I can't recall. I doubt I still have any of the newsletters, but if I find one I'll look for a Mount Royal address.

Yup, this is a good point. One reason that they are often challenged as to their usefulness in the first place.

Ha . There is likely some "over-reporting" (I forget the exact psychology terminology for it), especially since over-reporting to an extent will likely appeal to some b/c of the perceived "benefits" (however minimal) of doing so (i.e. you appear smarter, looks better on a public forum, etc)  .

wow, got 117 and thought I was doing well. I'm not as SMRT as most here it looks like. I guessed I would hit 120. I liked the fact that you needed to answer them quickly.
