I suppose, but the Greens face a more substantial credibility issue. The Bloc only needs to worry about Quebec - the Greens have aims to be treated as another big national party - they need to demonstrate in everything they do they are ready for that. Better organization, a more thorough platform, more cohesiveness in the party.

I'm not a Green supporter, by I am all for more choice out there.

If Alberta wasn't going to be all Blue for say, the next 29 Federal elections, I would say it would be in May's best interest to pull the Greens towards the right, especially on fiscal and democratic issues, and then go gung-ho for a seat here.

Interesting to note that Alberta had the highest percentage of Green voters in the last election. The riding with the largest percentage of Green votes was Calgary Centre.
