Alderman who lost rigged election would cry foul and unfair than rant about how he fought fair and ask for a recount. Lawyers would laugh at the loser and he'd be stuck muttering crap like well I know I won in my heart, nice story, but still doesn't change the fact that he's not collecting the paycheque.
