I'd go back to New York late 1940's to watch Joe DiMaggio finish out his career and then watch Mickey Mantle's take off.

If I could go back in time and be the age I was and start life over I would go back to when I was concieved. Maybe my mom would have had more folic acid in her diet and I wouldnt have been born with Spina Bifida. I'm fortunate that it's not as worse as it could have been (only 1 in 10 dont need any form of walking aid) but I still wish I didnt have it.
If I could just go back to visit a time period with the age I am now it would be:
- Montreal to witness game 6 of the finals
- Before Cliff Burton died so I could see him perform live with Metallica
- Roswell when the UFO(weather balloon my ass) crashed
- Ancient Rome to see the Gladiators fight
- Go back and see dinosaurs
- Be able to go back and meet my mom's dad. He died when she was 12 so I never got to know him. I heard he was great and we probably would have been very close like I was with my Grandma seeing as I would have been his youngest grandchild.
- Ancient Egypt

hmm, well in the past it would be...
- to slap myself silly and not turn down a girl that I knew a few years ago.
- the obligitory game 6 of 89
But I'd be most interested in the future. Go every 5 years and see the changes. Plus catching lottery numbers while I'm there wouldn't hurt either

Go back to Game 6 in 04 SCF, hire a team of intimidating gangsters to issue death threats to Kerry Fraser, ensuring that he will count the Gelinas goal and if necessary call a 5-on-3 on TB in OT1 to make up for Game 4. In exchange, his car will not be set on fire when he walks to it after the game.

Gelhead didnt ref Game 6. He was suppose to but the league decided to have him ref Game 7 instead because of all the heat he got from Calgary fans after Game 4. But he still screwed the Flames over with that bush league tripping calling on Saprykin to get Tampa their first goal.

I didnt watch the third so I cant comment on that but I remember people on here saying it was a brutal call too. After Tampa made it 2-0 I knew the Flames were done and couldnt bring myself to watch the third even after hearing Conroy had made it 2-1.

mine...in no particular order..
1. AD 750, Chang-An, the capial city of the Tang Dynasty.
2. 500 BC, to meet Confucius.
3. 1989, Montreal, Game 6..
4. 2004, Calgary, before Game 6..just to remind Gelina to shoot a little higher and in, so there's no more heartbreaking game 7...
still thinking about the rest...

The thing to do for game 6 in 2004 would have been to go back and rub a bunch of really strong athletic "heat" into a few Tampa jock straps ... say Khabiboulin's, Richards's, St. Lapukie's, and Lacavalier's. Let's seem them be a bunch of prima donnas with good groin burn going!

1. To go all the way to the beginning, to the point the universe began
2. Ancient Egypt and other places (too see how each civilization built their pyramids/temples)
3. Roswell 1947
4. Montreal Game 6, 1989
Obviously I'd love to see all other kinds of stuff but those are the main four.

Most kick-ass thread EVER!
1. Go back to prehistoric times and watch the dinosaurs
2. Any time in the late 60's and see The Who perform anywhere, with their original members
3. 1940. Join my grandfathers tank crew and land on Juno Beach on D-day and ride with him through the liberation of Holland and France and Belgium
4. Pick an appropriate moment and kill L. Ron Hubbard before he can start Scientology
5. Watch my son get born again
6. Go to the book depository in Dallas and see if Lee Harvey Oswald really did do it
7. Help Michaelangelo paint the Sisteen Chapel for a while
8. Go back to the day before my first wedding and tell myself to walk away, she's a whore
9. Relive my SECOND wedding day, because it was perfect
10. Meet my grandfather on my dad's side (he was killed when my dad was four)

That's good to hear. It's the first thread I've started because I haven't wanted to start lame threads. Thanks for the positive feedback.

Yikes... that sounds deep. Sorry to hear that, whatever it was.
What about the wild west era, or medieval times?? Those would be interesting to see.
