WOW, never seen this comming. Like most others who were there, BBB's best work was in the old ECW. His match with Taz at Heatwave 98 is one of the best matches I have ever seen. He will be truley missed.

As far as the state of Wrestling these days. I absolutly can't stand WWE there are a few wrestlers that I don't mind on the programming most on the now lame ECW. Raw is brutal and other than Edge, Carlito and Nick Dismore (Eugene), Benjamin and Haas, I can't stand the show, and if it weren't for my roommate always having to watch Raw every week I would never watch. I havn't watch Smackdown for about 4 months. ECW is really becoming stale and without Heyman at the helm it is just like any ther WWE cr@p, Vince can't stand to watch any other superstars than his succeed. It is brutal the way they are treating the Original ECW guys and CM Punk. I have been starting to watch TNA more and really enjoying the show, can't wait til they go to the 2 hour format.

Bigelow, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, Bulldog, Pillman, etc etc. Anyways, RIP.

If you havent watched wrestling in 7-8 years how can you know it's lame pal?..I agree though that this era of wrestling SUCKS..I hope tna gets a live broadcast and gets to showcase some real wrestling.

He was on Stampede wrestling.

The Beast from the East. I loved that guy.

Agreed, wrestling stinks now. I'm 25 years old, but I can safely say that I miss the good ol' days.

The Cuban Assassin, there's a name I haven't heard in a long time! Also, JR Foley!

I don't watch wrestling anymore, but its sad when someone dies at such a young age. RIP.

He lives in Bowness, not even sure if he owns his own place. From what I gathered he does not have a lot of cash at all. I worked for a painting company here in town from 2000 right up to when I finished school, he was there with us working everyday. The owner of the company used to be married to a Hart girl, hence the wresting connection. I think he'll be retiring very soon and moving to Puerto Rico.

Damn he told us a lot of stories, travelling with Andre the Giant, hanging out with the Bulldogs. And a lot of stories when he was a kid. My favorite one in particular was when he got out of school and used to walk home with his brother, if they were hungry they would swing by the neighbor's farm and steal a goat. Run through the trees and slaughter it right there, make a fire, coot it and eat it up.

Me, I remember walking home from school and stopping by the local store for a bag of chips and a pop. Different world.

"The autopsy results have come in on Bam Bam Bigelow, who passed away on January 19, 2007. His death was due to multiple drugs being found in his system including cocaine and benzodiazetine (an anti-anxiety drug). The drugs in his system were said to be at lethal levels. Bigelow was also suffering from heart disease as well."

Can't say I'm shocked, just considering how many old wrestlers have been dying off the last few years. I still remember playing with all my old rubber WWF action figures, the crappy ones that didn't move. Bam Bam was one of them too. RIP.
