Thanks for posting hulk, but I still gotta go with my guy having the better impression, I'm not sayin his bit was all that funny, but his voice actually sounds like Armitage, the other one is just making fun of him, but really sounds nothing like him.

I thought the impressions by the Radio Station in Van were quite poor compared to Mike Richards. Richards adds lots of humour in his while there was none in the impressions from Van.

Good plug by Richards for Calgarypuck... he mentioned the site by name a few times this morning.

VANFLAMESFAN took a beating this morning on the show. Calgary Puck was mentioned after the Schnee interview. He played your clip too, pointing out all the "Jokes" along the way.

I hate to laugh at another CPers expense, but it was a pretty funny bit. Shows that Richards reads the board... and I personally accept him as my new saviour!

He read your first post in this thread on air then played the vancouver version you were pimping - and then they all made fun of it - IMO it wasn't a very good impression either - wasn't funny, and i just didnt picture armitage there.

He just started tallking about the whole thing, mentioned you specifically (and CP) and then he read your post a few times. Then he made fun of you a bit from being from North Van...

Then he played one of your guy's clips and took a few shots at it.

The emailers then proceeded to take another round out of you, and the radio guy.

He did the whole thing twice during his show.

Incidentally, I know that you have mentioned that you work in radio. Is this guy from your station? Perhaps you can start a Calgary/Vancouver sports radio war.

Come on, you can picture Armitage when you hear Richards impression?? Listen, I dont find my guy;s bits the funniest thing in the world either, but the impression of Armitage alone is light years ahead of Richards. And yes, I do understand thats what makes Richards' bits funny and I just listened to the entire bits in the fan960 archive and yeah, they're funny as hell, but my only point here, and its been the same since the beginning, the impression sucks. It sounds nothing like Armitage.
