Not complaining.... This is just what I read.... I dont mind a rookie game.

As part of the deal Spike TV demanded that the Cheese rule be modified to allow for more player movement, and the CPHL agreed. The Cheese rule will be changed to allow each team a Maximum of $18,000,000 per team in trade limits, up from $12,000,000 the last two years.
Spike TV and the CPHL will drop the Rookie All Star game as part of the deal as Spike thought the idea looked to �Basketball�.
The CPHL has also agreed in part to eliminate the yearly Waiver Draft in September. It was determined that the draft made little or no difference and with increased Cap and Cheese the draft would no longer be required.

I also remember this Droopy....no one sent in votes for the rookies so the league decided to drop the game.

And I think it was a real pain in the ass for KG or whoever did it to move all the rookies around in the sim or something like that.

Ummmmmm Ok. So after talking with my cohorts turns out that the all-star game for rooks was cancelled because it turned out to be a massive pain in the arse to do.

So I'm going to cancel it this year. Sorry for everyone that spent time selecting their rookies. I didn't realize the difficulties attached to simming an additional all-star game.

Yeah, I think I spend like two hours trying to find rookies, and still cheated naming the odd sophomore who played less than 40 games last year in.

Now it's all for nothing!!!

I must say that in doing my lists the Howe Allstar team this year looks waaaaaay better than the team from last year. This years team actually looks decent and like they could compete with the Gretzky. Last year it was like Brodeur and team Kazahkstan vs. the NHL superstars.
