No sense doing this with the type of phone call the person asked about. These are randomly dialed by a machine, there is no person on the other end. All you are doing is tying up your phone line.
In fact, you are tying up your phone line if there is a person at the other end too.
I make it quick, say, not interested, hang up, takes all of 5 seconds. Then I take their number if it has not been blocked and I do the Telus thing as I said before. Works great for me.
