I definitely agree, New Year's Eve is soooo overhyped, at least in my mind. This may sound lame, but if I ended up sitting at home watching the Flames game on New Year's Eve and then nothing else the rest of the night, Id be perfectly fine with it.

But I think thats mostly due to past experience. Until last year(when I was at a block party in downtown Orlando), I had never had a good New Year's. Mostly they were average and boring for me, but there were a couple of em when some bad shyte went down. So over time I just began to not care about it, and probaby actually dislike it. Whereas I have always had an awesome St. Patty's Day and Halloween, so I love those days. I think its all due to past experience for me in terms of my indifference towards New Year's Eve. Nonetheless, its not a big deal to me at all.
