I think I might have to go to Wal-Mart this Thursday night at like 1:30 am just to experience shopping in a Wal-Mart that's like basically deserted.
Damn, I wish I had known about this sooner, though. I would have saved my Christmas shopping for this week. I did the majority of my shopping at Wal-Mart.
The Westbrook Wal Mart was freaking busy at 10:15pm. I expect it'll stay that way till 1:00 at least. Staff didn't seem too enthusiastic, but then again, are they ever?
I just got back from Wally's World and I noticed security was everywhere. Every department had a uniformed rent-a-cop. They also had a real cop hanging out.
I find this interesting because if I was going to steal something from Walmart, I'd wait for the big midday weekend crowds.
It would be cool if Wal-Mart keeps some stores open 24 hours after Christmas. It's would be nice if I could go shopping when I'm having problems sleeping.

WalMart probably ends up paying more per hour for a rent-a-cop from a 3rd party agency than they do they're own employees.
