I haven't spent more than a week of my life in the city, I'm no expert (mind you it's been the home to my favourite sports teams for what seems like forever)

depending on which side of the bed I wake up on "Cal-gree" or "Cal-ger-ee"

now that I think about it, I think I say "Cal-gree Flames" and when refering to the city itself I say "Cal-ger-ee"

ie: I've been to Cal-ger-ee to watch the Cal-gree Flames

I dunno

I'm 99% sure its calg-uhr-ee, and yeah, hearing Cal-Gary is a sign of a tourist most of the time.

I was born and raised here and would have to say Cal-Gree. I had to say it out loud a couple of times to see how I said it.

But I would have thought the correct way is Cal-Gary.

It's CAL-gree...emphasis (but not too much) put on the CAL.
