I think German accents are hillarious. My first boss at my real job was German and we referred to him as the drafting Nazi. Sometimes when telemarketers call I put on my fake angry German accent and just start screaming at them. Good times.

I'm the same way, I never thought about Canadians having accents but dated a girl who was from the Bay Area 5-6 years ago and ever since then I can pick out Canadian/prairie accents pretty easily.

this is gonna sound weird, partly because it is... but a hot girl with a slight Newfie/Maritime accent makes me melt. Dunno why, but I love the East Coast accent on a pretty girl, moreso than any other
like I said, I'm weird

Scottish accents are hot.
For some reason I love the way a Scottish girl says "umm".

I cannot stand accents. An accent on a girl is a major turnoff.
American and Australian are the worst. Hearing "sar-ee" instead of "sore-ee" makes me want to puke.
Australians just sound ridiculous when they speak. Often times I can't understand more than a word here or there.

Its funny you say that as the hottest European models are the ones from Eastern Europe. My fiancee is half Ukrainian and a brunette so i doubt i could find something of higher value. She models with the same company my sister is with so i should tell them to trade her to Canada for a cultural learning experience. But she is blonde. I will see what i can do for you.

Italian accents just sound like they are trying to you on. Same as Spanish.
Germans sound like they are always angry about something.

An Irish lilt on an Irish lass makes me want to go to the emerald isle.
Did anybody see the episode of Arrested Development where Michael Bluth was going to marry Charlese Theron, but he didn't know she was ######ed because she had a British accent?
Hilarious!

Mate. The birds over here are gagging for a bloke like you. Too many chavs and hood rats over here so there is a shortage of decent fellas. The Brit chicks love the North American accents plus will fall for any chat up lines you deliver. Go to Essex - you cannot fail to pick up something (although you might get prescribed antibiotics for it after) :P

Hah! No matter what they say, their is always a tinge of anger and haste about it. The Midlands accent always sounds like they are depressed no matter what they talk about. And when i hear a scandanavian accent i just hear: strip, naked, running, snow, sauna, porn. Well maybe that is just me.

Could not agree more.... the Australian accent has to be the most annonying thing in the world..... not to mention the attitude most australians have while traveling here. New Zealand all the way

I think all European accents are fantastic and I absolutely loathe being stuck with a North American accent.
I mean, if you're English it's somehow more socially acceptable or even expected that you can just pull off saying the most ludicrous yet sophisticated things in everyday life. I have an English boss who does that and I wish I could have the license to do that. <-which is what it's all about.
Maybe if I move away I'll just fake it. I wish I could just bust out saying things like "this is no occasion for levity!" anytime I wanted to.

I'm not a big fan of the Aussie accent for a girl.
However.. going down to Texas. Oh.. my.. god. Short skirts and girls saying "How, y'all doin'? Can I get y'all something to drink?"
Oh man that drove me crazy!

I say things like that. I mean i use words that some of my friends don't fully know the meaning of. But the difference is they look at me like i am some kind of ass. I can see what you mean though because when i was there i could say something like that and people reply with "man you are so London". "Then you get i had the Outriders down at Cowboys telling me "you are so cute" - which is officially the best accent ever when you hear stuff like that. Which i must say felt good. We think your accents are charming too. The birds here love it when you say ma'am.
But my accent is not that "jolly hockey sticks chaps, its time for a spot of tea". Its just boring London, not as charming as you think. Not Hugh Grant-esqe at all i'm afraid.

This thread makes me laugh out loud. People expressing their turn ons on the internet is always hilarious. I like the newfie girl one haha i burst out laughing.
For me though its got to be australian accent, 2 words, NAOMI WATTS. I also like girls with a southern accent, usually because its just such a NICE accent. AKA Reese Witherspoon, ALA walk the line.
Man i feel like such a dork for expressing my inner feelings.
PAIECE.

I can just about hear your accent in that post! Very self-deprecatingly British.
