GO through a recruitment firm, man. A PROFESSIONAL one. They've done wonders for me here, they basically look for a job for you, and you just have to twiddle your thumbs in the meantime.

I got a sweet job with Vodafone through an agency. I let them know what kind of work I wanted, and voila... I have a sweet job.

Just make sure it's a specialist/professional recruitment firm; not a temp agency.
