Usually wildwood is really good, and they have a zamboni that they clean the ice with (once they have some) once a day at least. You can get some pretty decent pickup games there. Im not sure on its status with ice b/c im away at school, but they are usually good about getting it in ASAP.

Wildwood has been flooding for a few nights in a row, still not useable yet but it often gets so crowded at wildwood. During the year there is 10 sub's per side playing 5on5 on a normal night with people taking long long shifts because if you dont you have to wait 15 or 20 minutes to get back on.

The rink behind the Rundle community hall was flooded over the weekend, but I'm not sure if it's usable yet. The damn thing has a 1 inch rise in the middle, so it needs a lot of water.

I think that the rink in Ranchlands is flooded but at the same time it is too damn cold to go out there before all the young punks decide to smash the ice for some unknown reason.... upsets me every year that someone would spend the time to ruin something as nice as an outdoor rink,

Citadel looks like it has at least one or two floods done in both the main hockey rink and the other side skating rink.

Anyone up in that end ??

I'm close to Citadel, me and my buddy either go there or Ranchlands. Ranchlands wasn't flooded when I checked on Saturday, might be by now.

I'll have to go check out Citadel though. If it gets a tad bit warmer then it's time to break out those skates again.

I'm in too.

I drove by Nelly Mclung today and it has ice. Last year the ice was very good too. They flood it often. It doesn't have boards but for some reason I like it better that way, its more old fashioned

Just went to scope out South Calgary, it's been flooded a few times by the looks of it, still rough though. My guess is a couple more days and it will be ready.

One of my favourites is the Capitol Hill outdoor rink + for my fellow North East Trash Temple and Whitehorn are both good. I am going to lobby the Taradale Community Assoc. board to build one out here. We have the highest percentage of young kids in the city and no outdoor rink. No wonder kids are getting fat!

Does anyone know if this is confirmed or not? I drove past it and they had the big flood lights on but I couldn't see above the little hill...

It's now flooded, both the rink and the kiddy part beside. The ice looks not too bad, to boot.
