I have a couple CDs that I didn't really care for after the first few listens. A couple years later, I'll try it again and sometimes there is a song just out of the blue that makes me wonder how I missed it. Stone Temple Pilots - Glide off No.4 comes to mind. Everyone knows Sour Girl but I didn't really care for the album as a whole. Then a year ago I listened to the whole album again and started wondering how I could have dismissed that tune, and suddenly I gained new appreciation for the whole album. (then there are those songs that I love from the album's release but don't turn into hits until a year later).

although I wouldnt call it the best song ever, I do quite like it.
I had the pleasure of seeing Klaatu in Calgary many many years ago.
Headliner was Prizm with Klaatu and band called Straight Lines.
one of the best concerts I ever saw.
it was right about the time when Klaatu was dispelling the rumours that they were the reincarnation of the Beatles. And after you saw them in person, you knew that their real pictures were placed on their album covers kinda in hiding...ala Wheres Waldo.

thanks for bringing back that memory.
very cool stuff.

Go old school with some Blue Cheer. Can't mention the 70's without Bob Marley. Jeff Beck is incredible if you're a guitar afficianado. Can never go wrong with Joe Cocker. How about some Canadian content and Max Webster. Or Nazareth,or Rainbow.

There's a ton of great music from the late 60's and 70's. Wide variety of styles as well.

The Police is one of my all-time favourite bands. Can't go wrong with the Travellin Wilburies either.

Thank you.

Music is a huge passion of mine. I love threads on music because I like seeing what others enjoy. It helps me expand my musicial horizon and taste.

Another group I forgot to add: The Outfield.

'Play Deep' is definitely one of the best 80's albums. Who doesn't sing along when 'Your Love' comes on the radio??

The Outfield is fantastic. They actually released a new albumn earlier this year - pretty much the same sound from their 80s stuff so if you like that, you'll like the new albumn.

The guy asked for old music that rocks. Rocks people.

Elton John? The Eagles? Gordon Lightfoot? Neil Diamond? C'mon...

Iggy and the Stooges - Raw Power

Now that's old and it rocks.
