This game is a blast. Single player is hard...which is good.

Agreed, FPS MUST be played with mouse/keyboard. I could never play Golden Eye or any other such FPS on a console as I have played my whole FPS gaming career on a PC. No comparison IMO.

(music nerd voice) "Actually, I believe it is Mad World by Tears for Fears, covered by Gary Jules. Nyaa!"
Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks the song doesn't fit the ad at all?

Yes you're right it is a Tears for Fears song but that particular version was covered Gary Jules (bigger music nerd voice) . I think it matches the commercial really well...in an odd surreal sense.

Awesome song, anyway. If you're looking for it JerseeGirl, I'm pretty sure it was on the Donnie Darko soundtrack.

(Biggest music nerd voice) "Actually the song is by Gary Jules AND Michael Andrews, who did the entire score to Donnie Darko, Andrews picked the song made the music then chose Jules to do the vocals..."

I think it fits amazingly well. The juxtaposition of the grim action and the sad music is great. It makes me want to go out and buy a 360.

The end is the best...when the creature is about to strike, gives us the illusion that there is no hope. A grim end.

Thanks everyone for the help with the song - I knew I knew it from somewhere but the re-do by Gary Jules (& Michael Andrews, thx Sowa! ) is better than the original by far!

Yes, I'm also thinking of buying a 360 based on that commercial alone. It did a fantastic job at capturing the emotion and making people want to buy the game. I think between this game and NHL 07, I've made my choice. I've been a Nintendo fan for so long, but this is looking good. Plus, when I play video games, I like being lazy. None of that moving around you have to do with your Wii.
Funny thing is that I won the Premium bundle last November and sold it. Now I'm gonna go buy it

I ended up buying the xbox for this game and I was not disappointed. I haven't played too much just yet but it is by far the best shooter I've played on a console in a very long time. The controls are relatively easy to learn and I like how you can take cover using just about any object. Insanely fun and insanely addictive. I can't wait to play it on the xbox live . . . never done that before.

Mad World is also covered by a band called Finch. They do a pretty good job on it as well.
I am on the fence for buying this game, everyone i have talked to has had rave reviews for it though. I think I might just have to go for it.
