I think a lot of the problems in message board debates come because lazy bas**rds don't read everything, reply, and completely miss the point, thus stirring the pot even more.

Reading is your friend!
Guilty! I really have to break that habit one day.

Not the greatest method but it saves me from falling asleep during a Cowperson/Lanny argument (to which my method doesn't seem to apply as the quotes to replies often take up complete pages of text).

I think even Cowperson and Lanny would agree with that sentiment.

What the hell happened here? I did not intend this to be a Cowperson slamming thread at all. I have to learn to shut my big fat fingers. I read most of cow's posts if the subject interests me.
Yeah. Well at least no one's "Called out Cowperson" or anything.

*chuckle*

I remember that! I can honestly say that was one thread I read in its entirety. I actually felt sorry for the guy after a while, it seemed like every member of the board took out a little pent up playoff rage on him.

Well deserved though.

I find that reading posts by people like Cowperson is actually educational for a young guy like me.

That was damn funny. Iread all of that one. For me, its all about subject matter. If I'm interested, I read it all but as far as the American politics ramblings, I couldn't give a crap so I don't read any of them.

If its a topic I'm interested in I'll take the time to read a long post. Lanny and Cowperson have some great debates.

Sometimes my posts get to be pretty long, but I'm still going to have to agree with Nuckfan's posts being intolerable.

Me too. And I agree with fotze - long posts+no paragraphs=easy to skip.
