Normally I don't go all spelling-nazi, but please remember that it's Sacha Baron Cohen, not Sasha Cohen, as the latter is a champion womens figure skater

My favourite Ali G show is when he has Religion vs Evolution, one guy calls him a Homo Sapien and Ali G gets really offended.

It is hilarious. "Yo, if you is one of them, what ever, but I'm not." hahahah

I was going to ask, is this the same guy that does the Ali G show, but I guess it is.

Borat might become THE highest rated movie of the year (universal acclaim):

http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/borat

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/borat/

I'm not too familiar with Ali G, but I can't wait to see this movie.

I dressed up as him for our Halloween work party. $15 dollar grey suit from Salvation army, and the transformation of my red goatee into a black mustache scored me second place and a Nintendo DS!

I couldn’t justify taking time off tomorrow to go see the movie while my staff was working, so I expensed it as a “team building” exercise and got everybody tickets for the 3:30 showing.

The best part? My boss agreed to it because he wanted to come!

Calgary Herald Review:

http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/...3-2175fe806a52

Shocking. Creepy. Brilliant. Hilarious. Hairy. Borat is all these things, but Sacha Baron Cohen's mockumentary about a Kazakhstani newsman's exploration of America is also one of the most searing indictments of the U.S.A. ever created.

Globe and Mail:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servl...rtainment/home

Borat at its best is pure satiric genius, the Swiftian kind that has you busting a gut with laughter even while checking your conscience for implicating flaws. Since satire with sharp teeth is virtually extinct in our age — how do you lampoon the self-lampooning? — the movie can be readily forgiven its occasional lapses into Jackass inanity. Then again, those legions of Jackass inanity fans will surely fall in love with the lapses. Let's just say the result is pretty much a win-win situation. When Borat is good, it's very, very good, and when it's bad, it's box-office gold.

Toronto Sun:

http://jam.canoe.ca/Movies/Reviews/B...3/2219979.html

BOTTOM LINE: Is very nice. A unique comedy experience, hilarious and shocking in equal measure. Not even the late, great Andy Kaufman was as committed to a joke as Cohen, who practically has ice water in his veins as he goads the hateful to drop their pretenses and tests the patience of the helpful -- virtually beyond human endurance. ---

CNN:

http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Movi...rat/index.html

If there is any justice Sacha Baron Cohen will walk away with this year's Academy Award for best actor, Pamela Anderson on his arm. Maybe someone should throw in a Pulitzer for undercover reporting, too.

But for all its hilarity, "Borat" cuts deep. Satire, as everyone from Jonathan Swift to the Onion could note, is not a business for the faint of heart.

Did anyone catch Borat on the Howard Stern show on Wednesday morning. I only caught half of it. But it was the funniest interview I have ever heard on Howard Stern and that is saying alot.
