I've been listening to a lot of old metal lately - Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, early Metallica, Anthrax , Slayer - all I need now is the ten-speed with the upside down handle-bars!!!

Joe Jackson: I started listening to him again after his great work on the latest Shatner album; still not a fan of the last couple albums he did, but his early 80s work is brilliant.

Iron Maiden is playing Irvine, CA a week from Saturday. I'm in Vegas at that time and am seriously considering driving out to see them. Their new album is quite good, actually.

Is that Humble Pie album the one with "I don't need no doctor" on it? Fart I love that song.

Absolutely. Sunday Papers I believe was a pretty good album.

The Byrds weren't British.
