haha... so true.
That and we have a deaf girl in the class, and they have sign language translators at the front too, so you never know who to watch!
I'm really afraid that this class will be super hard to get a good mark in it.. harder than it has to be.

Yep, that will be difficult to get a good mark in his class.
Does he still make you debate a topic in groups? The day my group went, we were doing same-sex marriage and I was in the group that was for it, but no one from the other group showed up so I switched and improved for the against side and I think I got a 70%. I was pretty choked considering it wasn't even the topic I prepared for...

No, 3 tests, 1 final, and a huge research paper.
The class is never full (except on test day)...

Jayems:
To get a definitive answer about how it will affect your GPA, you should speak to an adviser at MRC. One important question is what a high GPA means to you in a practical sense--is it only important for a scholarship, or is it that you intend to apply for a more advanced program--a degree program at U of C, or graduate/professional work, perhaps. If it's the latter, I wouldn't worry too much, because for the most part those kinds of programs weigh your most recent grades more heavily than your overall GPA. Also, "W" grades, as long as there aren't more than about 2 or 3, are not usually a big deal.
In many cases, there's an overall "transfer GPA" which is calculated separately from your overall GPA. That may set your mind at ease somewhat.

Yeah, I've been playing telephone tag with the lady at MRC credit transfer, but I can't talk to her until tomorrow, and i got a little antsy.
Thanks for the info!

Oh come on! Wilson is the easiest poli sci prof at the U of C. You can finish this class easily Jayem. Write your paper on any theoretical construct and just quote the theory to the "T" on your paper.
