Wasn't he wearing a Flames jersey at the dome during Game 7 against Tampa when we were all watching on the big screens? I saw him there.

LOL

I actually thought it was cool to see him there and actually interested and understanding what was going on. You think Chretien would have a clue?

Harper is a HUGE hcokey fan. He could put the vast majority of hockey fans to shame for his knowledge of the sport. I think it's kind of cool to have a PM like that.

Yup this much is true....

The prime minister, who is a member of the Society for International Hockey Research, is currently penning a book about the pre-NHL history of the game.
But he recently admitted in an off-the-cuff conversation that the demands of his day job have slowed down the project.

Check out this picture from the game, it looks like the crowd at an art auction or something, except for Stephen Harper's son of course.

That picture says it all to me. As a kid growing up in Toronto, I could never get to a Leaf game, because these relics have all the seats, and they couldn't care less what's going on down on the ice. And at the first chance they get, they're down in the bar behind the Platinum seats (which is why you see rows of empty seats at the beginning of the periods).
