It's pretty hard to get a team into a league in this city. There is too much demand for too little available ice time. If you're thinking about next season, you should get a committed roster together and get your name on their "wait list" asap.

You can get a feel for just how many adult rec teams there are in this city by clicking on the "Teams" link on most of the above sites. The result being that you'll never find good ice times (before 10:00pm) in Calgary, as first dibs go to minor hockey, and then the leagues compete with long-time shinny ice time holders.
