I have seen The Who over here in London, England and they really were amazing. How much were your tickets?

My uncle also saw The Eagles a few months ago and said it was the best gig he has ever seen.

For me thes best ever was Oasis at Wembley, 200,000 fans and i was at the front of the first mosh pit for 2 days in a row. Then i got a back stage pass from the lighting guy (worked with him before) and i met Doves who are my favourite band of all time. Their gig was amazing too. If no one has heard of or listened to Doves then i highly recommend them. Listen to Pounding. Best song ever.

Frank - Any idea when The Who gets on, as far as timing and the first band?

Concert starts @ 7:30...I suppose they won't get on until after 9?
Wouldn't mind catching a bit of the 1st period if possible, and wife and I have no real interest in the opening act, especially if competing against a Flames game.

They were on before 9 in London. I'd guess about quarter to or ten to 9. Again, I didn't really pay much attention to the time.

Have fun tonight guys, its AWESOME. Lots of new stuff which is really good and the old stand-by's. My Generation turned into a ten minute ordeal. The last song is one of the new ones, Tea and Theatre, with just Townsend on an acoustic and Daltry all alone and man can he belt it out for a 61 year old dude. Beautiful beautiful song.

Is anyone going to stand up for this concert? I'm assuming it'll be a bit of an older crowd tonight. I had a friend who went to Supertramp and he said it was kind of bad because no one was into it because they were all sitting down.

I'm 22, but I love classic rock. I have the pink floyd pulse DVD and it seems everyone sat down for that concert too. If I paid $1000 to see pink floyd I think i'd want to stand up and jump around to the music a bit.

Looking forward to it. Too bad it can't be tomorrow night so we can watch the concert inbetween the flames destroying the oilers.

The whole floor section stood the entire time and for quite a few of the songs, the whole place was on their feet. That and 9,000 people singing every word to 5 or 6 songs was really cool.

Yeah, floor tickets would be nice, but I don't have the $500 to spend. My tix cost $70 after all was said and done and I think I should still get a pretty good view.

Interesting thing was when I went to the RHCP concert a couple weeks ago they had chairs set up on the floor, so there was no mosh pit of anything like that. Just seemed odd to me.
